Job summary

NIIT Learning Systems in Gurugram is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer) with 3–5 years of experience to work across backend and frontend development using PHP/Laravel, Node.js, and React.js.

Responsibilities include building high-throughput APIs, implementing multi-tenant data models and access controls, and managing PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB with Redis for caching. Emphasis on scalable architecture, SOLID principles, and DevOps practices.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer with 35 years of experience in backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel, Node.js, React.js, databases, and modern web development technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Backend Development

• Build high-throughput APIs and background services using PHP (Laravel) and Node.js (Fastify, Express.js).
• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services.

Frontend Engineering

• Develop responsive and modular web applications using React.js, Tailwind CSS, Vite, and Bun.
• Ensure strong performance, usability, and maintainability across applications.

Multi-Tenant Architecture

• Design and implement strict tenant-isolated data models and access controls.
• Work with hybrid database architectures while ensuring data security and isolation

Database Management

• Manage relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Work with document-based databases such as MongoDB.
• Utilise Redis for caching and queuing.

Modular Application Architecture

• Structure applications using internal packages and workspaces, including Composer path repositories and pnpm/Bun workspaces.
• Apply SOLID principles and maintain clean, scalable code architecture.

Development Standards & DevOps

• Follow strict TypeScript and PSR standards (PSR-1, PSR-4, PSR-12).
• Implement automated testing and maintain code quality.
• Handle Nginx/Apache configurations.
• Follow standard Git workflows for source control and collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Redis Streams.
• Exposure to Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, or AI workflow automation.
