Job summary

Acesoft Labs in Mumbai invites an experienced PHP Developer with 6–8 years of hands-on PHP development to join our engineering team. You will work on scalable applications using Laravel or Symfony, design robust database schemas, and integrate RESTful APIs in a collaborative environment.

Candidates should be proficient with MySQL or PostgreSQL, comfortable with MongoDB, Git workflows, and basic DevOps tasks.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional PHP development experience.
• Proficient in PHP, with frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL; MongoDB is a plus.
• Basic front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Proficient with Git and version control workflows.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integration.
• Familiar with deployment and server management (DevOps basics).
• Experience with PHPUnit or testing tools.
• Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation/network tasks is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in PHP development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP and knowledge of relevant frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and Python Database: Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. as well no-sql like Mongo

Front-End Skills: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Frameworks: Experience with additional PHP frameworks or CMSs (e.g., Yii2, Laravel etc). APIs: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration.
