Job Title: WordPress Developer & SEO Executive

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Developer & SEO Executive to join our team. The role is on-site in Vadodara and requires comfort working in a night shift environment.

Position Overview

We are looking for a well-rounded professional with strong expertise in WordPress development and SEO execution, along with solid backend knowledge and CMS integration experience. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling direct client communication, managing project documentation and repositories, and demonstrating a clear potential to lead a team in the near future as the department scales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Website Development (WordPress & CMS):
   • Develop dynamic, responsive websites using WordPress, including custom themes and plugins.
   • Manage multi-site configurations and handle product inventories for e-commerce and content-heavy sites.
   • Optimize websites for performance, cross-device responsiveness, and seamless user experience.
   • Collaborate with frontend/UI designers and backend developers to meet project specifications.
   • Integrate with CMS platforms such as Shopify, OpenCart, BigCommerce, and Drupal when required.
2. Backend Development & CMS Integration:
   • Work with Core PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter for server-side logic and feature development.
   • Manage SQL-based databases and support AWS server/database deployment tasks.
   • Use Git/GitHub for version control and manage well-structured repositories.
   • Maintain proper coding standards, documentation, and changelogs.
3. SEO Strategy & Execution:
   • Execute full-scale on-page and off-page SEO, including site audits, backlinking, metadata, and content optimization.
   • Conduct comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance tracking.
   • Manage platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and run campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads.
   • Generate monthly performance reports and provide actionable insights to improve traffic and engagement.
4. Documentation & Repo Management:
   • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture, workflows, issue logs, and changelogs.
   • Build, organize, and maintain version-controlled repositories for code and assets.
   • Contribute to the creation of internal SOPs, user manuals, and team handbooks.
5. Client Interaction & Requirement Gathering:
   • Engage directly with international clients to gather functional and technical requirements.
   • Translate business needs into development roadmaps and task flows.
   • Provide status updates, recommend technology solutions, and ensure full alignment with client expectations.
   • Represent the development team professionally and proactively.
6. Leadership Potential:
   • Demonstrate the ability to lead small projects independently and support team collaboration.
   • Exhibit strong organizational and mentoring skills, with the intent and potential to manage a development or SEO team in the future.
   • Take initiative in improving internal processes, workflows, and delivery standards.

Qualifications
