Job summary

Novactech in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, invites a PHP Developer with 2-5 years experience to join our development team. You will build high-quality responsive websites on the LAMP stack, using Laravel or Symfony, and write PHP unit tests.

You will work with WordPress/Drupal CMS, design and optimize MySQL/MariaDB databases, implement RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services, and collaborate using Jira or Taiga for project management.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of PHP web development experience.
• Experience with LAMP stack and PHP frameworks Laravel or Symfony.
• Experience writing PHP unit tests.
• Experience with CMS like WordPress/Drupal.
• Strong MySQL/MariaDB database design and optimization.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Familiarity with caching services like Redis.
• Experience integrating third-party services (payment gateway, SMS, social).
• Experience planning and managing projects using Jira or Taiga.
