Job summary

Acufore India Private Limited is seeking a backend developer to build secure and scalable web applications using PHP 8+ and CodeIgniter. You will design robust APIs, optimize MySQL databases, and ensure high performance.

You will work with frontend teams to integrate APIs, implement security best practices, and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment. Proficiency in Git and modern web technologies is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP 8+ and CodeIgniter architecture.
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills.
• Experience with MySQL performance optimization and indexing.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs integration and secure coding practices.
• Version control with Git and collaborative development workflow.

Job description

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance web applications using PHP.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
• Develop backend modules using CodeIgniter and follow proper MVC architecture.
• Design, write, and optimize MySQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database structures.
• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities, performance issues, and application bugs.
• Integrate external services such as payment gateways, email/SMS services, and other third-party APIs.
• Work closely with frontend developers to integrate APIs and develop complete application features.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Perform debugging, unit testing, and troubleshooting of production issues.
• Use Git for source-code management and follow proper branching and code-review practices.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, database performance, and API response times.
