Job summary

AWL Cross Border Commerc in Bangalore, India is seeking a Backend Developer to join our team. You will build scalable, secure backend systems using native PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap, aligning with frontend and product teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience, a Bachelor's in CS, and strong skills in REST APIs, MVC, and server-side security. You will write clean code, perform reviews, and help optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1–3 years of backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with native PHP and MySQL.
• Experience with Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and MVC architecture.
• Knowledge of server-side security practices (SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Core/Native PHP.
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including complex queries and indexing.

Description :

A skilled Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Native PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap to build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, writing clean code, and collaborating with frontend, crossborders and product teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Core / Native PHP
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including complex queries, indexing, and optimization
• Integrate frontend components built with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build and consume REST APIs
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security best practices
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and functional issues
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and stakeholders

• Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability
• Solid experience with MySQL (queries, joins, indexing, normalization)
