Job summary

Xanadu Studio is seeking an experienced Photoshop Designer to join our team in Mumbai. You will blend fine-detail image craft with AI-driven production to deliver polished, photoreal imagery.

The role requires strong retouching and compositing skills and hands-on experience refining AI-generated imagery to a studio standard. You'll work across design and AI integration, ensuring lighting, anatomy, and realism remain natural while sharpening textures and edges.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Photoshop designer/retoucher in an agency, studio, freelance, or similar environment.
• Strong command of the Adobe Suite, especially Photoshop.
• Lightroom and Illustrator experience is a plus.
• Excellent eye for realism, lighting, and anatomy.
• Experience with AI image generation tools.
• Strong skills in: Compositing, Retouching, Object cleanup and addition, Color grading.
• Fast learner with high adaptability to new tools and workflows.
• High attention to detail, especially in visual consistency and output quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality photo compositing, blending multiple sources into seamless final images
• Retouch faces, hands, skin, and fine details with precision and realism
• Clean up, remove, or add objects and elements within a scene convincingly
• Apply cinematic color grading to establish mood, tone, and visual consistency
• Ensure lighting, shadows, and anatomy read as natural and physically accurate
• Refine and correct AI-generated images, fixing common generation artifacts such as: Hands, Faces, Textures
• Composite AI-generated assets with live‑action or other generated elements into cohesive final shots
• Maintain visual consistency across characters, environments, and shots throughout a project
• Upscale and finish generated assets to delivery-ready quality
• Iterate quickly across multiple versions to reach creative and technical benchmarks
