Job summary

The role requires proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, photo/video editing skills, and the ability to deliver edited content within deadlines while maintaining a clean digital archive.

Qualifications

• Experience in school/event photography.
• Portfolio of photography work preferred.
• Proficiency with DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and editing tools.

• Strong eye for lighting, composition, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality photographs and videos of school events, activities, celebrations, performances, sports, and day-to-day life.
• Cover student and staff photographs for social media, website, newsletters, brochures, and other communications.
• Capture engaging candid moments showcasing school culture and student experiences.
• Edit and deliver photographs/videos within required timelines.
• Maintain an organised digital archive of photographs and videos.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Academic teams for content requirements.
• Handle and maintain photography equipment responsibly.
• Follow school guidelines on student safety, privacy, and consent.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification or experience in Photography, Media, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a photographer; school/event photography experience preferred.
• Proficiency in DSLR/Mirrorless cameras and photo/video editing software.
• Basic videography and video-editing skills.
• Creative eye with good knowledge of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with children and in a fast-paced school environment.
• Portfolio showcasing photography work is preferred.
