Job summary

QualityAI in Bengaluru is seeking an automation engineer with strong experience in Playwright, TypeScript, and Java. You will drive automation initiatives across web testing with Selenium, Cucumber, and TestNG, and build robust API automation using Postman/ReadyAPI.

A good grasp of CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub) and Agile practices is essential. The role requires independent work with stakeholders to deliver automation solutions that scale across the project, and a proactive approach to tackling

Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright & TypeScript in automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of BDD with Gherkin and Cucumber.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript and API automation.
• Hands-on with CI/CD: Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Ability to work independently with stakeholders and drive automation.

Responsibilities

• Drive automation strategy and implement automation for the project.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to define test scenarios.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
• Mentor team and ensure timely delivery of quality releases.
