Job summary

Accenture in Chennai is seeking a Pharmacovigilance Services Associate to join our safety surveillance team. You will be responsible for intake, review and processing of adverse event reports in line with global regulations and client guidelines.

The role requires a Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy and 1–3 years of experience, with the ability to work in shifts as needed. You will contribute to data entry, MedDRA coding and case processing for ICSS in our safety database.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety surveillance preferred.
  • Experience with safety reporting regulations and MedDRA coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Handle Individual Case Safety Reports processing.
  • Oversee intake, review, assessment and processing of adverse event reports for timely safety reporting.
  • Manage Affiliate Mailbox reconciliation and all follow-ups for Serious and Non-serious cases.
  • Create and manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, and submission per client guidelines.

What would you do?
  • Individual Case Safety Report Processing
  • Responsible for the intake, review, assessment, and processing of adverse event reports to ensure accurate and timely safety reporting in compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations and company quality standards.
  • Management of the Affiliate Mailbox reconciliation of reports per process and performance of all written follow up attempts to include both Serious and Non serious cases
  • Create and manage case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submission, and follow-ups for ICSS in the safety database as per client guidelines and applicable global regulatory requirements.
