Job summary

Physicswallah is seeking a PGT Computer Teacher to instruct senior secondary students in Computer Science and Computer Applications. You will develop lesson plans, conduct labs, and mentor students for board examinations and competitive exams.

Strong CS knowledge and classroom management are essential. The role requires updating curricula, creating assignments, and collaborating with teachers for holistic student development.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification is preferred/required as per applicable school norms.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java, C++, SQL, networks and DBMS; core CS concepts.

Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science/Computer Applications to senior secondary students (Classes XI–XII).

• Stay updated with developments in CS, programming, and technology.
• Collaborate with faculty for academic planning and student development.
• Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, and other duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a relevant discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification is preferred/required as per applicable school norms.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Java/C++, SQL, Computer Networks, DBMS, and core Computer Science concepts.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to teach concepts from basic to advanced levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

• 38 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Experience teaching CBSE Classes XI–XII will be an added advantage.
• Experience in preparing students for board examinations and competitive-level assessments is preferred.
