Job Synopsis:

The Performance Tester should have at least 5+ years of experience and will be a contributing member of the Performance Testing Team.

Main roles & responsibilities:

• Gather Performance Testing Requirements.
• Conduct system performance testing to ensure system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Develop performance test plans and cases with the testing team.
• Develop automated scripts in JMeter.
• Analyze test results and coordinate with development teams for bug fixes.
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments for performance testing.
• Generate test summary reports for management review.
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.
• Review and improve existing test procedures.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/B.E. or equivalent.
• 5+ years of performance testing experience, with at least 2 years involving JMeter (mandatory).
• Testing coordination experience – full understanding of end-to-end performance testing process and engagement with different teams such as DBA, Dev, or System Admins.
• Excellent soft skills (communication via email, phone, live meetings).
• Good programming experience in any language for at least 3 years.
• Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies and MS Office tools (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Word).
• Experience with continuous integration in performance testing.
• Experience working on finance/banking domain projects.
