Job summary

NextNation is seeking a motivated Performance Marketing Intern to join our team in Bengaluru. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting lead generation campaigns, monitoring performance, and reporting on key metrics such as CPL, CPC, CTR, CPM, and ROAS.

You will work closely with the performance marketing team to optimize campaigns, identify high/low performing elements, and ensure efficient budget usage while learning practical advertising strategies.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Digital Marketing and Performance Marketing.
• Basic knowledge of Meta Ads Manager / Facebook Ads Manager.
• Understanding of Lead Generation campaigns is preferred.
• Good understanding of key marketing metrics (CPL, CPC, CTR, CPM, conversion rate, ROAS).
• Comfortable working with numbers and analyzing campaign data.
• Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work with a performance marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing Meta Ads campaigns, especially Lead Generation campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and identify areas for improvement.
• Track metrics such as CPL, CPC, CTR, CPM, conversion rate and ROAS.
• Monitor budgets and spending to ensure campaigns run efficiently.
• Support campaign optimization based on performance data.
• Identify campaigns, ad sets, audiences, and creatives performing well or poorly.
• Help optimize campaigns to improve lead quality and reduce CPL.
• Analyze audience, creative, placement, and campaign-level performance.
• Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and maintain data in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and business requirements.

About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and data-driven Performance Marketing Intern who has a basic understanding of digital advertising, especially Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram). The intern will work closely with the performance marketing team to support lead generation campaigns, campaign monitoring, optimization, reporting, and data analysis. This is a hands‑on learning opportunity where you will gain practical experience in running and optimizing real advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing Meta Ads campaigns, especially Lead Generation campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis and identify areas for improvement.
• Track important performance metrics such as:
• CPL (Cost Per Lead)
• CPC (Cost Per Click)
• CTR (Click-Through Rate)
• CPM (Cost Per 1,000 Impressions)
• Conversion Rate
• ROAS, where applicable
• Monitor campaign budgets and spending to ensure campaigns are running efficiently.
• Support the team in campaign optimization based on performance data.
• Identify campaigns, ad sets, audiences, and creatives that are performing well or poorly.
• Help optimize campaigns to improve lead quality and reduce CPL.
• Monitor lead generation campaigns and help identify issues such as duplicate, irrelevant, or low-quality leads.
• Assist in analyzing audience, creative, placement, and campaign-level performance.
• Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and maintain campaign data in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and business requirements.

Requirements
