Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a QA Performance Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Software R&D team in Bengaluru. You will ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive performance testing and analysis, collaborating with Development, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field with 3 to 6 years of experience in Performance Testing and Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter.
• Experience designing and executing Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, and Scalability tests.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Hands-on experience with Grafana for monitoring and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration, Linux, monitoring tools and performance test automation will be a plus.

The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a QA Performance Automation Engineer to join our dynamic Enterprise Software R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications through comprehensive performance testing and analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, QA, DevOps, Product Management, and Architecture teams to identify performance bottlenecks, validate system behavior under load, and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions to customers.

As a QA Performance Automation Engineer for the Enterprise Software R&D Unit, you will be part of the respective local department and report to the R&D Team Manager.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Analyze application performance under various load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability scenarios.

Your Background

Must have
