Job summary

Bellurbis is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Campus QA/Tester in Gurugram to join our QA team. You will test PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, validate processes, identify defects, and ensure reliable releases across modules like Student Administration, Admissions, and Records.

Responsibilities include creating test artifacts, executing varied testing types, logging defects in JIRA/Azure DevOps/HP ALM, and coordinating with analysts and developers to drive quality.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of QA/testing experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functional processes.
• Hands-on experience in test case creation, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Experience with functional and integration testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL/database validation.
• Experience with testing tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM or similar.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC and defect life cycle.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

• Support UAT and production-release validation.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Campus QA / Tester to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for testing PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications, validating business processes, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of application releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test scripts for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Test PeopleSoft Campus Solutions modules and business processes such as:
• Student Administration
• Admissions
• Student Records
• Academic Advisement
• Campus Community
• Recruiting & Admissions
• Execute test cases and document test results and evidence.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-management tools.
• Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems and third-party applications.
• Validate interfaces, reports, batch processes, and data flows.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, Functional Consultants, and business stakeholders for defect resolution.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs from a QA perspective.
• Conduct regression testing for application enhancements, patches, fixes, and upgrades.
• Support UAT activities and production-release validation.
• Prepare QA status reports, defect reports, and test execution summaries.

Required Skills

• 3-6 years of experience in QA/testing with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions functional processes.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
