Reporting to the Core HR & Systems Support Owner, this role supports the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting and resolve complex functional and technical issues of the HR Technology systems dealing primarily with Workday HCM solution integrating into the broader Global Operating Model. The position serves as the first point of contact for employee enquiries escalated by the Global Virtual Hub to HR Technology team, administers complex Workday transactional activities, Mass operation management, and supports the continual improvement of Workday HCM processes across a global, multi-country environment.
- Workday Administration – Serve as primary Workday HCM administrator across modules including Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and Business Process Configuration
- Configuration Support – Assist with configuration of technical changes within Workday as directed by the Core HR & Systems Support Owner
- Bulk Administration – Administer bulk upload activities via EIB inbound integrations and Org Studio, as escalated by the Global Virtual Hub
- Continuous Improvement – Support initiatives surrounding continual improvement within Workday HCM and its interaction with associated core modules
- Client Service Delivery & Enablement – Serve as escalation point for HR Operations Teams and Provide Workday transactional support and training to the Global Virtual Hub to further build their technical support capability
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Assist People Systems Lead and Product team with system initiatives, cross-functional projects, and coordination across teams, and Ad-Hoc business requirements.
- Knowledge Transfer – Support training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders
- Issue Resolution – Troubleshoot and resolve Workday ERP functional issues, technical issues, configuration defects, and system-related challenges
- Stakeholder Liaison – Act as liaison between Global HR Operations and HR Tech Product Teams to meet business needs and support service delivery
- Quality Assurance – Support comprehensive unit testing completion before partnering with Tech Assurance team for system test and UAT
- Cross-functional Collaboration – Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and IT teams to resolve queries and support Workday HCM solutions and associated People Systems ERPs
- Escalation Handling – Act as first point of contact for system-related queries escalated by the Global Virtual Hub, through to resolution
- Technical Support – Provide first-line technical support, liaising with HR Operations Teams, End-Users, Business Stakeholders, Customer Experience and Centre of Excellence teams
- Technology Administration – Assist with administration of new HR technologies (Workday, Docusign, Beamery, Glantus, etc) globally
- Global Process Support – Support global HR processes and enterprise-scale Workday HCM environments and assist with implementation of new HR technologies globally
- Communication – Communicate technical and functional concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Meeting Participation – Participate in Team meetings, issue log calls, product and project meetings to support business delivery and knowledge sharing
- Workday Knowledge: Good experience in Workday HCM configuration, maintenance, production support, and enhancements; familiarity with business processes (joiner, mover, leaver), organizational structures, and integrations (EIB inbound, Org Studio) is desirable. And knowledge of SDLC is a plus.
- Technical Tooling: Exposure to ticketing and case management tools such as HR Help, Salesforce, JIRA etc. is required.
- HR Process Knowledge: Fair understanding of Workday HCM business processes and global HR operations within enterprise-scale environments
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex functional and technical issues, with developing problem-solving abilities to assess needs and investigate solutions
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Team Collaboration: To work cohesively as a strong team player & Ability to work effectively within a range of stakeholders and People Technology teams.
- Self-Management: Willingness to upskill in technology and learn new skills and systems; ability to operate and partner within a People Technology team and demonstrate collaborative work style with developing experience in self-managing and monitoring workload effectively
