Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Gurugram seeks a Project Equipment Management System (PEMS) Administrator to support Bechtel's global project teams. You will train and assist users of the PEMS asset management system to forecast, track, and estimate equipment requirements across sites and offices worldwide.

The role requires Bachelor of Science and 2–5 years of experience in an equipment rental or similar environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in automated systems; intermediate proficiency with Microsoft applications, especially database and scheduling tools.
• Intermediate knowledge of asset management.
• Intermediate knowledge in material and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Manage equipment data information and transfers in the database.
• Review PEMS data for accuracy and completeness; update as necessary.
• Maintain and enhance equipment inventory database functionality with development items and testing.
• Provide on/off-site project support scheduling and forecasting as required.
• Maintain construction equipment schedules for projects.
• Analyze, interpret and generate reports including asset management control.
• Monitor project’s equipment plan/forecast/actuals.
• Complete requisitions for parts and equipment as needed.
• Manage recommended spare parts lists as needed.
• Provide training and technical guidance on project data.

Job Summary

The Project Equipment Management System (PEMS) Administrator reports to the PEMS Supervisor/Manager. PEMS is internal name of Hexagon’s EAM+ SaaS Solution. This individual provides training and support in utilizing the Project Equipment Management System (PEMS) database, an asset management software system used in forecasting, tracking, and estimating of equipment for projects worldwide to the global Bechtel construction jobsite teams. May be in an office supporting project(s) or a site location. Analyzes and interprets data for billing, measurement of utilization, and deployment summaries. Maintains working relationships with project personnel. Maintains contacts with corporate functional departments such as Finance and Project Controls.

Major Responsibilities

• Manage equipment data information and transfers in the database.
• Review PEMS data for accuracy and completeness; update as necessary
• Maintain and enhance equipment inventory database functionality by assisting with open program development items and testing.
• On or off-site project support scheduling and forecasting as required.
• Maintain construction equipment schedules for projects.
• Analyze, interpret and generate reports including but not limited to asset management control.
• Monitor project’s equipment plan/forecast/actuals.
• Complete requisitions for parts and equipment as needed.
• Manage recommended spare parts lists as needed.
• Provide training and technical guidance and assist with project data as required.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Science
• 2-5 years’ of work experience in an equipment rental company.

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Basic Qqualifications
  • Experience in automated systems; intermediate proficiency in the use of the Microsoft suite applications, particularly database and scheduling applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of asset management.
  • Intermediate knowledge in material and quality control.

Additional Qualifications

• AEMP Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) certification or equivalent preferred.
• Planning and schedule experience preferred
• General construction equipment knowledge preferred.
• Financial background preferred.

This position will administratively report to BEO India Finance and Technical Manager, and work closely with PEMS team in Sugar Land, TX
