Job Description:

A Pega Developer is responsible for the development and configuration of Pegasystems applications. They work with business users to understand their needs and design solutions that meet those needs. In addition to development and configuration, Pega Developers provide support and maintenance for existing applications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with full-stack feature teams to deliver new and improved ways to automatically test and deploy software across a broad technology platform.
• Apply thorough understanding of the responsibilities of the platform, database, API, caching layer, proxies, and other web services used in the system.
• Excellent scripting skills (shell, python, perl) in a Linux environment.
• Experience with BDD and testing framework such as Cucumber or Junit.
• Keep track of schedule for on-time delivery of assigned tasks as per the defined quality standards - Optimize pace and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and work on user stories/backlog items and deliver the same with the highest quality.
• Attend stand-up meetings and provide updates.
• Develop solutions and POCs based on customer and project needs.
• Conceptualize a new product, feature, or component and test new technologies or features through PoCs.

Key Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 4 years of extensive hands-on experience in the design and development of BPM applications using Pega.
• Must have hands-on experience in Agents, Integrations (SOAP/REST/SQL etc.), Declarative Rules, Decision Rules, Flows, UI etc.
• Pega 7 and 8 in-depth knowledge and experience of successful projects.
• Experience using Pega architecture, security model, and service interfaces to build effective software solutions.
• Experience in REST calls, manage migration, configuration, and monitor performance.
• Experience in OOPs concepts and design systems security technology, Business process management technologies.

Education: 15 years of full-time education.
