Job Overview

The Pediatric Physiotherapist is responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy programs for children with various developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions. This role involves collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and educational staff to promote optimal physical development and mobility in children.

A key focus of this position includes the integration of emerging technologies and active participation in clinical research and professional advocacy to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

Assessment & Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

Intervention: Implement therapeutic techniques to improve mobility, balance, and coordination.

Next-Gen Therapy: Learn and implement AR/VR-based therapy protocols to increase patient engagement and track progress through immersive digital environments.

Product Research: Support the research and development of new therapeutic products and assistive devices, providing clinical feedback for design improvements.

Professional Advocacy: Prepare and deliver clinical presentations for hospital leadership and medical doctors to share treatment outcomes and innovative practices.

Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, documenting the efficacy of both traditional and tech-based interventions.

Education: Guide families and caregivers on home-based strategies to support the child’s physical development.

Collaboration: Work within interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators.

Education and Experience

Degree: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

Licensure: A valid state license to practice physical therapy.

Experience: Previous experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred. Candidates with a demonstrated interest or background in medical technology (MedTech) or clinical research are highly encouraged to apply.
