Job summary

IG Group in Bengaluru is hiring a Payment Operations Analyst to manage deposits, withdrawals and payment workflows across multiple methods while upholding regulatory standards.

You will work in a hybrid setup with UK hours, bringing analytical rigor, attention to detail, and strong communication as you collaborate with multiple teams to ensure timely and accurate client funding and payouts.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education is required.
• Fluent English in verbal and written form.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work UK hours (12:30pm to 03:30am IST).
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to establish rapport with people of all statuses and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurate processing of deposits in IG in accordance with international and local compliance regulations.
• Processing and release of withdrawals across IG's payment methods (Card, Bank, PayPal).
• Regulation and enforcement of anti-money laundering controls, including verification of bank statements and payment methods.
• Administration of IG's payment and banking portals to enable effective processing.
• Problem-solve complex payment issues and queries.
• Handle daily reports, bonuses/tax, and audits.
• Coordinate cross-departmental communications to handle queries.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise team performance.

Your role in the Team's Success

You will be proactive with any queries and requests from clients to ensure they are answered and ensure you maintain up to date with changes to regulations and new payment trends and to date with all things Payments at IG.

What you'll do

• Problem-solve complex issues and errors to resolve payment queries
• Handling of daily reports, posting of bonuses/tax and audits
• Cross-departmental communication to facilitate effective handling of queries
• Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to optimise team performance.

What you will need for this role

Although desirable you don't need a background in finance to apply. We'll provide on-the-job training and support to help ensure you quickly pick up the necessary knowledge and understanding.

What you will need is a genuine interest in working in financial markets, along with motivation levels as impressive as your aptitude for numbers and attention to detail - plus:

• A degree-level education
• Fluency in English (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Happy to commit to shift pattern that covers UK hours ( 12.30pm to 03:30am IST)
• The ability to work well under pressure
• To be able to establish rapport with people of all status and background
• A logical and analytical approach
• Very good organization and time management skills
• Literacy in MS Office
• Strong attention to detail.
