Job summary

IPexcel Services Private Limited is seeking Patent Prosecution professionals with 1+ years of experience to handle patent prosecution matters in India. The ideal candidate will have solid understanding of patent laws, office action responses, and experience attending hearings before the Indian Patent Office.

The role requires registration as a Patent Agent with the Indian Patent Office, and strong communication skills, with a focus on software/electronics inventions.

Qualifications

• IN Patent Agent Qualification is a must.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Indian patent prosecution.
• Strong technical understanding of software and electronics domains (non-pharma).

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the IPO in India.
• Prepare and respond to office actions, FERs, and other official communications.
• Attend IPO hearings and coordinate with inventors and foreign associates.
• Collaborate with in-house counsel to ensure timely prosecution and alignment.
