Job summary

Clarivate Plc is seeking a Patent Drafting Senior Analyst to join the Prep and pros team in Noida. You will draft and prosecute patent applications for Fortune 100 clients, focusing on telecommunications and IP lifecycle support.

The role requires 2–3 years of drafting experience, a telecommunication degree, and strong knowledge of wireless standards, IP fundamentals, and US patent laws. Proficiency in MS Word/PowerPoint is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of drafting and prosecution experience in patent drafting and SEP support.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications.
• Ability to prepare patent applications from minimal invention disclosures.
• Deep knowledge of Wireless communication standards (3G, LTE, LTE‑A, 5G, IEEE).
• Strong understanding of electrical circuits, control systems and VLSI technologies.
• Knowledge of IP fundamentals and US patent laws.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint and related day‑to‑day tools.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in drafting and prosecution services and especially working on patent drafting and SEP support.
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Telecommunication domain.
• Ability to perform prepare patent application from minimal available invention disclosures.
• Deep Knowledge in Wireless Communication standards (3G, LTE, LTE-A, 5G, IEEE Standards)
• Good understanding of Electrical circuits, control systems and VLSI technologies
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) fundamentals and US Patent laws
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other tools that may be required for day-to-day work
