Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies seeks an experienced ServiceNow professional to own the Vulnerability Response (VR) module across global environments. You will configure assignment rules, remediation tasks, and risk-based workflows to align with security and business priorities.

You will lead integration efforts with scanners like Qualys/Ten able/Rapid7, define CMDB mappings, and drive stakeholder workshops through UAT to deliver measurable risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Experience in ServiceNow VR implementation and administration.
• Proficient in integration of vulnerability scanners with ServiceNow VR.
• Familiar with CMDB mappings, discovery, and service mapping.

Responsibilities

• Configure VR components, including automated assignment rules and remediation tasks.
• Design vulnerability exception processes, deferrals, and risk acceptance workflows.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and automated notifications for visibility into vulnerabilities.
• Architect and manage integration of vulnerability scanners with ServiceNow VR (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).
• Lead stakeholder workshops to define requirements and oversee UAT for VR implementations.

Job description

• Proposed designation: CON (4 - 7 yr) / AM (7 - 10 Yrs)

ServiceNow Vulnerability Response

Configure key VR components, including automated assignment rules, remediation tasking, and customized risk scoring to align with business priorities.

Design and implement the end-to-end vulnerability exception process, including workflows for deferrals and risk acceptance.

Develop and maintain custom dashboards, reports, and automated notifications to provide clear visibility into the vulnerability landscape for all stakeholders.

Architect and manage the integration of vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable) and other security platforms with ServiceNow.

Lead stakeholder workshops to define requirements, translate them into user stories, and oversee the development lifecycle through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Implement and support ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Vulnerability Response (VR) module.
Configure Vulnerability Response workflows, assignment rules, remediation tasks, and vulnerability groups.
Integrate vulnerability scanners such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, or similar with ServiceNow VR.
Configure CMDB mappings and ensure accurate CI correlation for vulnerability data.
Support Security Operations processes and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ServiceNow Platform Administration and Development.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR). ServiceNow describes VR as a solution that consolidates vulnerability findings, maps them to CMDB assets, prioritizes risk, and supports remediation workflows.
• Knowledge of SecOps modules and vulnerability lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating vulnerability scanners (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, etc.).
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
