Job summary

PK Companies is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician for Topeka, IN. You will perform repairs on equipment and buildings, maintain common areas, and handle snow removal and after-hours maintenance as needed.

The role requires tools proficiency, physical endurance, and a customer-service mindset. Prior maintenance experience is preferred, with knowledge of boilers/cooling towers considered a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
• Grounds work; maintain common areas inside and outside as needed
• Snow removal and after hours emergency maintenance
• Complete maintenance and repair work orders promptly
• Order and replace broken parts or equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Painting, drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and flooring repair
• On-Call as needed
• Perform other duties, as assigned

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings

• Snow Removal and After hour Emergency Maintenance

• Order and replace broken parts or equipment
