Job summary

Kairos Technologies in India seeks an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Virtual Palo Alto firewalls in Azure, implement high availability, and oversee Site-to-Site VPNs. Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in network security and Palo Alto firewall administration.
• Experience with Azure Cloud deployment and Panorama centralized management.
• Strong knowledge of routing (BGP) and stateful inspection.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Virtual Palo Alto firewalls in Azure Cloud environments.
• Configure and maintain Panorama for centralized management.
• Implement and manage High Availability (HA) configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Site-to-Site VPNs.

• Develop and maintain security policies aligned with organizational standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong experience with Virtual Palo Alto firewalls and Azure Cloud deployment.
• In-depth knowledge of Static Routing and Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP).
• Expertise in Palo Alto failover mechanisms in Azure Cloud.
• Good understanding of Cisco FTD vs Palo Alto differences.
• Advanced knowledge of packet flow, TCP/IP fundamentals, and stateful inspection.

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of Azure Cloud infrastructure, traffic flow, and load balancing.
• Familiarity with Azure networking components (VNets, NSGs, UDRs).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in network security and Palo Alto firewall administration.
• Relevant certifications such as PCNSE or equivalent preferred.
