Girish Mangidcar & Co., Chartered Accountants, invites applications for a Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter/Final) to join our Hyderabad office as a Paid Assistant. The role offers end-to-end exposure across audit, direct tax, GST and compliance while working directly with the partners on a diverse client portfolio.

The candidate should have completed articleship and possess 2–5 years post-articleship experience, with strong knowledge of tax laws and hands-on software like Tally and Excel.

Qualifications

• CA Inter cleared with 3 years articleship completed
• 2–5 years post-articleship experience in a CA firm
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax Act, GST, and Companies Act
• Hands-on with Tally ERP/Prime, Computax or Winman, and advanced MS Excel
• Ability to independently handle client portfolios and meet deadlines
• Good drafting and communication skills; English and Telugu/Hindi preferred
• Based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate

Responsibilities

• Execute statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits
• Prepare audit programs, working papers and audit documentation
• Handle bank, stock and concurrent audits
• Draft audit observations and support finalising audit reports
• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Firms, Companies and Trusts
• Compute advance tax and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
• Assist in scrutiny and notices, rectifications and appeals
• File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C
• Maintain client accounting in Tally/Zoho and review bookkeeping
• File ROC/MCA forms AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC and related annual compliances
• Track client compliance calendars and ensure timely statutory filings

Girish Mangidcar & Co., Chartered Accountants, is looking for a Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter/Final) to join our Hyderabad office as a Paid Assistant. The role suits someone who has completed articleship and wants end-to-end exposure across audit, direct tax, GST and compliance while working directly with the partners on a diverse client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory & Tax Audit

• Execute statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits of companies, firms and LLPs
• Prepare audit programs, working papers and audit documentation as per applicable standards
• Handle bank audits, stock audits and concurrent audits
• Draft audit observations and support the partner in finalising audit reports

Direct Tax

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, companies and trusts
• Compute advance tax, TDS liabilities and file quarterly TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
• Assist in scrutiny assessments, notices, rectifications and appeal submissions
• Prepare Form 3CD and tax audit annexures

GST & Indirect Tax

• File GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C within statutory timelines
• Perform GSTR-2B vs books reconciliation and follow up on ITC mismatches
• Handle GST registrations, amendments, refund applications and departmental notices

Accounting, ROC & Compliance

• Finalise books of accounts and prepare financial statements as per Schedule III
• Maintain client accounting in Tally / Zoho and review bookkeeping quality
• File ROC/MCA forms AOC-4, MGT-7, DIR-3 KYC and related annual compliances
• Track client compliance calendars and ensure timely statutory filings

Candidate Requirements

• CA Inter (IPCC) cleared - single or both groups; completed 3 years of articleship
• 2-5 years of post-articleship experience in a CA firm
• Strong working knowledge of Income Tax Act, GST law and Companies Act
• Hands-on with Tally ERP/Prime, Computax or Winman, and advanced MS Excel
• Ability to independently handle a client portfolio and meet statutory deadlines
• Good drafting and communication skills; English and Telugu/Hindi preferred
• Candidates based in Hyderabad or willing to relocate
