Job summary

IBM Consulting is seeking a skilled Package Specialist: SAP Solution Manager to design, implement, and maintain the SAP Solution Manager module, optimizing system landscapes, monitoring, and support processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Key responsibilities include configuring Solution Manager processes, developing customizations and interfaces, and providing training to end users.

Qualifications

• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager design, implementation and maintenance to optimize landscapes, monitoring and support processes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and IT service management best practices.
• Experience with Cloud ALM and Focused Run for landscape analysis and monitoring optimization.
• Understanding of system monitoring, incident management and problem management processes.
• Familiarity with customizing and interfacing to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Solution Manager processes including monitoring, incident and problem management for seamless integration with SAP modules.
• Develop and maintain customizations, interfaces and reports to optimize SAP landscapes.
• Test and troubleshoot Solution Manager issues to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide training and user support on Solution Manager functionality and best practices.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Specialist: SAP Solution Manager, you will design, implement, and maintain the SAP Solution Manager module to optimize SAP system landscapes, monitoring, and support processes. This role requires collaboration with business stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design and Configure Solution Manager Processes: Design and configure Solution Manager processes, including system monitoring, incident management, and problem management, to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Develop and Maintain Customizations: Develop and maintain Solution Manager customizations, interfaces, and reports to meet business needs and optimize SAP system landscapes.
• Test and Troubleshoot Issues: Test and troubleshoot Solution Manager issues, identifying and resolving errors and inconsistencies to ensure smooth operation.
• Provide Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Solution Manager functionality and best practices to ensure effective usage.
• Analyze and Optimize Processes: Analyze and optimize SAP system landscapes, monitoring, and support processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Exposure to SAP Solution Manager: Experience working with SAP Solution Manager, including designing, implementing, and maintaining the module to optimize SAP system landscapes, monitoring, and support processes.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and IT Service Management: Strong knowledge of SAP ECC and IT service management best practices to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
• Experience with Cloud ALM and Focused Run: Experience working with Cloud ALM and Focused Run to analyze and optimize SAP system landscapes, monitoring, and support processes.
• Understanding of System Monitoring and Incident Management: Experience with system monitoring, incident management, and problem management processes to identify and resolve errors and inconsistencies.
