IBM India Private Limited is seeking a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Application Security to support SAP HANA security implementation and production support. The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and 6–7 years of experience in SAP HANA security, with hybrid work arrangement and collaboration across global teams.

In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Application Security, you will support the implementation and production support of SAP HANA Security, utilizing your business knowledge and packaged solution expertise to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access. You will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP HANA application security best practices.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Implement Secure Architectures: Design and implement secure SAP HANA architectures, including data encryption and access controls, to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.
- Conduct Security Assessments: Perform security assessments and risk analyses for SAP HANA applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and mitigate security risks.
- Configure Security Features: Configure and optimize SAP HANA security features, including authentication, authorization, and auditing, to protect against threats.
- Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to gather security requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP HANA application security best practices.
- Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA security features, trends, and best practices.

- SAP HANA Security Configuration: Familiarity with configuring and optimizing SAP HANA security features, including authentication, authorization and auditing.
- SAP HANA Security Expertise: Exposure to implementing and maintaining secure SAP HANA applications, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive data. Familiarity with SAP HANA security features, including data encryption and access controls.
