Role Overview

As an IT Manager Data Engineer at P&G, you will improve information insights to support industrial organization and transformation. This role involves designing predictive models, deploying AI/ML solutions, and implementing data governance guidelines. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high‑value data insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the layout and development of a cloud‑based statistics and analytics platform, specializing in ETL/ELT operations, orchestration, transformation, and visualization to drive business and transformation.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for extracting and ingesting data from various sources, design and implement data transformation strategies (cleaning, normalization, aggregation) for consistency.
• Build data models for warehousing and retrieval on Azure and Databricks; design data warehouses and lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage and Delta Lake.
• Integrate data from on‑premises and cloud assets using Azure Data Factory, and apply governance practices to ensure data safety, privacy, and compliance.
• Optimize pipelines for performance and scalability in Azure/Databricks; monitor and troubleshoot pipelines to resolve performance issues.
• Develop BI reports to enable faster decision‑making and collaborate with product managers to ensure product excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduated with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree (any field).
• 3–7 years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, or related fields.
• Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Delta Lake.
