Opella Healthcare Group, based in Hyderabad, seeks an experienced OT Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and oversee robust OT security across manufacturing environments.

The role requires collaboration with engineering, IT, and operations to assess risks, implement security controls, and sustain compliance with OT standards. You will lead incident response planning, asset lifecycle security, and ongoing threat monitoring.

• 10+ years overall experience with 7+ years in cybersecurity, OT/industrial systems
• Strong understanding of SCADA architectures and OT security frameworks (e.g., Purdue model)
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443)
• Experience with cybersecurity governance, incident response, and secure lifecycle management

About the job: OT Cybersecurity Architect Role Overview and Key Responsibilities The OT Cybersecurity Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust cybersecurity solutions within Manufacturing and Supply [Operational Technology (OT)] environments. This role ensures the protection of industrial control systems, networks, and other critical infrastructure components from cyber threats. The architect collaborates with engineering, IT, and operations teams to assess risks, develop security strategies, and enforce compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain OT cybersecurity architectures and frameworks tailored to industrial environments. Design and implement security controls such as network segmentation, access management, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard OT assets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity requirements are incorporated into operational projects and processes. Continuously monitor emerging threats, assess new technologies, and recommend improvements to existing security measures. Provide expert guidance for incident response and recovery in the event of OT security breaches. Conduct regular assessments of OT environments to verify the effectiveness of security controls and compliance with regulatory standards. Participate in the development and review of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and documentation specific to the OT environment. Oversee secure system integration and lifecycle management of industrial assets, from installation through decommissioning. Evaluate security architecture for business solutions hosted within the OT environment. About you: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Overall 10+ years of experience with 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on OT/industrial systems. Strong understanding of industrial protocols and SCADA architectures along with OT security frameworks like PURDUE model. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443). Experience with Github and SAP systems will be an added advantage. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach to cybersecurity in complex OT environments, stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to safeguard operational assets. Why us?
