Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Order to Cash Operations Specialist in Chennai to join our Finance Operations team. You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end cash application processes, collecting operational data, reconciling transactions, and providing visibility into working capital.

The role requires 7–11 years of relevant experience, a BCom or any graduation, and familiarity with SAP-based cash application.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash application and revenue management required.
• 7–11 years of experience in Order to Cash operations.
• SAP knowledge and certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Align with Finance Operations to determine financial outcomes from data reports.
• Optimize working capital with real-time visibility and end-to-end revenue/cash flow management.
• Handle cash application, unapplied cash, suspense account reconciliation, and posting to the General Ledger.
• Receive, deposit, apply customer payments and prepare AR reporting.

What would you do?

• You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions.


• Optimizing working capital providing real time visibility and end to end management of revenue and cash flow and streamlining billing processes This team over looks the entire processes that starts from customers inquiry sales order to delivery and invoicing The Cash Application Processing team focuses on solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with the customers The role requires a good understanding of cash applications the process of applying unapplied cash reconciliation of suspense account in cash application and process them from payment receipt to finalization


• Receive and deposit customer payments, apply cash remittances and credits adjustments, maintain bad debt reserves and allowances, prepare Accounts Receivable reporting, and post and reconcile Accounts Receivable activity to the general ledger. What are we looking for?
