Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking an Oracle Supply Chain Management Consultant to support ERP projects across OM, INV, PO, WIP, and BOM. The role requires understanding Oracle ERP/EBS or Fusion applications, documenting requirements, and validating data with SQL basics. Prior end-user experience and Oracle certification are advantageous.

You will join a consulting team, assist in design and deployment, explore solution options, and help build POCs. Growth in client-facing delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Oracle ERP/EBS or Oracle Fusion applications.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle application architecture and business process flows.
• Knowledge of business processes in OM, INV, PO, WIP, BOM.
• Ability to create functional documentation and test cases.
• Familiarity with SQL basics for data validation and analysis.
• Prior experience as an end user of Oracle ERP/EBS or Oracle Fusion Applications is preferred.
• Oracle certification (EBS/Fusion) is an added advantage.
• Exposure to Oracle implementation, support, or enhancement projects.
• Experience working in AMS, analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication.
• Basic understanding of reporting, interfaces, and data migration processes within Oracle ERP environments.
• Willingness to learn and grow in Oracle consulting and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Support consulting team in problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment.
• Explore alternatives and build POCs based on research and vendor information.
• Create requirement specifications from business needs and define to-be processes and detailed functional designs.
• Assist in configuring solution requirements, diagnose root causes, seek clarifications, and shortlist solutions.
• Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives to deliver high-quality value-added solutions.

A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to actively aid the consulting team in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation and design and deployment
• You will explore the alternatives to the recommended solutions based on research that includes literature surveys, information available in public domains, vendor evaluation information, etc. and build POCs
• You will create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.
• You will support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives
• You will also contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
