The role focuses on designing, developing, and tuning complex SQL and PL/SQL programs to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of Oracle databases. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL development, with knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/19c/21c, DBMS_STATS, and performance tuning

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of Oracle SQL/PLSQL development and performance tuning experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL query optimization and Oracle database development.
• Hands-on with designing, developing and tuning complex SQL/PLSQL programs for high performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze execution plans and identify inefficient access paths.
• Optimize high-cost SQL statements, tune joins and subqueries.
• Gather and maintain optimizer statistics using DBMS_STATS.
• Diagnose CPU, memory, and I/O bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with teams in Banking & Financial Services domain experience.
