Job summary

Excelya Group is seeking an Oracle Programmer to contribute to Data Management for a Sponsor project. You will ensure high-quality programming in line with Client SOPs, working closely with internal study stakeholders and external data vendors.

The role requires 2–4 years of Oracle programming experience, strong DMW skills, and familiarity with ICH GCP guidelines. English fluency is expected in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience as an Oracle Programmer or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Proficient in Oracle DMW tool and study build as per specifications.
• Strong knowledge of PL/SQL and JavaScript is expected.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with study stakeholders internally.
• Program using Oracle tools (DMW, LSH).
• Understand SDTM and data set generation per DMW specifications.
• Set up external data vendor integration from DMW specifications.
• Perform transformation mapping as per specifications.
• Manage external data loading and integrations in DMW.
• Handle VC/PD programming in DMW.

The Oracle Programmer is responsible for providing Oracle Programming input for Data Management activities dedicated to one Sponsor. They are responsible for ensuring all clinical programming aspects per Client’s SOPs are delivered to high quality.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with the different study stakeholders internally
• Responsible for programming using Oracle tools (DMW, LSH)
• Good understanding of SDTM & Data set generations as per the specifications in DMW.
• Responsible for setting up for external data vendors integration from specifications in DMW.
• Responsible for Transformation mapping as per the specifications.
• Responsible for managing external data loading and integrations in DMW.
• Responsible for VC/PD programming in DMW

Experience

• 2 to 4 years of experience as an Oracle Programmer or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Skills

• Good understanding of Oracle DMW tool and study build as per the specifications.
• Experience programming languages, such as PL/SQL, JAVA SCRIPT.
• Knowledge and understanding of ICH GCP and other relevant ICH, EU or FDA guidelines to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of Clinical trial process and Data management activities
• Proficient in computer technology used in an office environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, etc).

Education: Bachelor’s degree qualification in a Scientific discipline is preferred.

Languages: Fluency in English
