Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Oracle EPM/EPBCS specialist to lead end-to-end implementations covering Financial Planning and Workforce Planning. You will own the full lifecycle from requirements to hypercare, designing and configuring P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, budgets, forecasts, and workforce models.

You will collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable EPBCS solutions and optimal performance.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of overall experience in Oracle EPM/Enterprise Performance Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS.
  • Extensive expertise in EPBCS Financials and Workforce Planning modules.
  • Experience leading multiple end-to-end EPBCS implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and workforce planning processes.
  • Hands-on experience with: Oracle EPBCS Workforce Planning, Financials, Calculation Manager, Groovy, Data Integration/Data Management, Experience integrating EPBCS with Oracle ERP/HCM and other enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of Finance and HR business processes.
  • Experience with data migration, reconciliation, SIT, UAT, and production deployment.
  • Ability to work effectively with onshore/offshore delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 4–5 end-to-end Oracle EPBCS implementations, primarily covering Financial Planning and Workforce Planning.
  • Own the complete project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Design and configure Financial Planning solutions covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and financial drivers.
  • Design and configure Workforce Planning solutions covering headcount, salaries, benefits, bonuses, merit increases, taxes, employee expenses, and workforce drivers.
  • Conduct workshops with Finance, HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop scalable EPBCS solutions.
  • Configure dimensions, metadata, forms, dashboards, Smart Lists, validations, business rules, and calculation logic.
  • Develop and optimize Groovy scripts, Calculation Manager rules, and business rules to automate processes and improve application performance.
  • Design workforce models supporting new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, employee movements, and compensation planning.
  • Develop financial planning models for revenue, OPEX, CAPEX, allocations, assumptions, and forecasting.
  • Integrate EPBCS with ERP, HR, HCM, and other source systems using Oracle Data Integration/Data Management and appropriate mapping strategies.
  • Lead data migration, metadata loading, historical data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities.
  • Develop test strategies and lead SIT, UAT, defect resolution, regression testing, and business sign-off.
  • Configure security, user access, approval workflows, substitution rules, and role-based access controls.
  • Manage dependencies and data flows across Workforce, Financials, Projects, Capital, and other EPBCS modules.
  • Troubleshoot complex calculation, integration, data, security, and performance issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
  • Perform application performance tuning and optimize business rules, Groovy scripts, forms, and calculations.
  • Lead and mentor onshore/offshore EPM teams, coordinate project activities, and ensure delivery milestones are achieved.
  • Manage technical and functional deliverables while ensuring alignment with business requirements and Oracle EPM best practices.
  • Provide post‑go‑live support, knowledge transfer, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the transition of implemented solutions to the application support/operations team.
