We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM PBCS/EPBCS Consultant who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based planning and budgeting solutions. The ideal resource should have deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud, strong financial planning process knowledge, and hands-on experience in building applications, business rules, and integrations.
Essential Functions
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Oracle PBCS/EPBCS applications.
- Work with Finance and business stakeholders to understand budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain Web Forms, Dashboards, Smart Forms, Business Rules (Groovy & Calc Scripts), task lists, and approvals.
- Configure Metadata, Dimensions, Account Hierarchies, Smart Lists, and substitution variables.
- Design and develop Data Loads using Data Management, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), or REST API.
- Create and maintain Calculation Scripts, Groovy Rules, and automation logic.
- Manage monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles, troubleshoot application issues, and provide end-user support.
- Perform performance tuning, validation, and UAT support for EPM applications.
- Prepare detailed documentation, solution design documents, and user training materials.
- Coordinate with technical teams for integrations with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud ERP, EBS, SAP, etc.).
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, compliance, and data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field
Must Have
- Experience in other Oracle EPM modules (FCCS, ARCS, PCMCS)
- Knowledge of REST APIs for automation
- 4–6+ years of experience working on Oracle EPM Cloud (PBCS / EPBCS).
- Strong understanding of Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Workforce Planning, Capex Planning, Financials modules.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Business Rules, Calc Scripts, Groovy Scripting
- Data Management / FDMEE
- Smart View and Excel-based planning
- Metadata Management
- Good understanding of financial processes, FP&A cycles, variance analysis, driver-based planning, and accounting fundamentals.
- Experience integrating PBCS/EPBCS with ERP, data warehouse, or external systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
