Job summary

SmartX Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Oracle Techno-Functional Consultant with extensive Oracle EBS expertise to lead end-to-end finance transformations. You will map business processes, define functional requirements, and coordinate with IT and finance teams to implement compliant, scalable solutions.

The role demands 10–15 years in Oracle EBS Finance modules, strong IFRS knowledge, and hands-on delivery of at least two full lifecycle projects.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Finance modules (GL, Payments, AP, AR, treasury and cash management, subledger, etc.).
• Experience in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle EBS projects.
• Strong knowledge in accounting, payments, reconciliation, finance processes and integrations.
• Strong IFRS and central banking knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead process mapping workshops and produce To Be business processes for all end-to-end finance sub domains.
• Ensure compliance controls of organization policies while developing To Be maps, SoD, etc.
• Translate business processes into functional requirements for Oracle EBS.
• Review current Oracle EBS configuration, modules, APIs and map to capabilities.
• Define integration requirements and liaise with the integration team.
• Design and configure Oracle modules and workflows with minimal customization.
• Create test scripts and support UAT.
• Create IT documentation and training materials; deliver role-based training to end users.

Oracle Techno Functional Consultant with Oracle EBS Functional Expertise

• Lead process mapping workshops/ interviews and produce To Be business process for all end-to-end finance sub domain (GL, AP, AR, cash management, Bank reconciliation, payments RTGS, SWFIT, procure to pay, intercompany, etc)
• Ensure compliance controls of organization policies and procedures while developing To Be business maps, workflows, SoD, etc.
• Translate business process into functionals requirements for Oracle EBS
• Review current Oracle EBS configuration, customizations, modules, APIs and map functional requirements to Oracle EBS capabilities and identify gabs.
• Propose the right sequences and priorities of the functional requirements for better system developments
• Define the integration requirements and liaise with integration team
• Design and configure Oracle modules and workflows as per the agreed priorities with minim customization
• Create test scripts and acceptance criteria and support end user for UAT
• Assist in troubleshooting functional issues and implement fixes
• Create the required IT documentations
• Create training materials (user, runbooks, etc,) and deliver role base training to end user

Qualification & Skills

• Degree in Finance, accounting, IT, computer science or related
• 10-15 years of hands‑on experiences in Oracle EBS functions in Finance modules (GL, Payments, AP, AR, treasury and cash management, subledger, procurement / supplier, iSourcing, workflow, fixed assets, project costing, inventory, etc.)
• Certifications in Oracle EBS is advantages
• Proven experiences in at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle EBS projects
• Strong knowledge in accounting, payment, reconciliation, finance process and integrations
• Strong understanding in IFRS and central banking requirements
