Job summary

Translab in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to provide technical and functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite. You will handle installation, configuration, patching, cloning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across the app and middleware tiers.

The role requires hands-on experience with RAC, Data Guard, Concurrent Manager, and OCI, with strong SQL/PLSQL skills. On-site, 5 days a week in Mumbai; 4–7 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture including RAC and Data Guard.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting on Linux/Unix.
• Experience with core DBA tasks like tablespace management and backups.
• Familiar with OCI and modern monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Start/stop all EBS services and manage application tier.
• Administer WebLogic and managed servers; configure Apache/OHS.
• Handle Forms/Reports services and Concurrent Manager tasks.
• Patch, upgrade, and clone environments; perform post-patch checks.
• Troubleshoot OPP, session issues, and cache cleanup.
• Shell scripting, cron jobs, and OS health checks.
• Configure integrations: SMTP, REST/SOAP, FTP/SFTP; TLS setup.
