Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA (EBS R12) to join our technical team. The role requires expert installation, configuration, upgrades, backups, monitoring and performance tuning, with a strong focus on RAC and WebLogic Server administration.

You will review databases, conduct health checks, implement DR drills, manage RMAN backups and handle patches. Candidates must communicate effectively and be willing to work shifts as required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Oracle Apps DBA experience in EBS R12.
• Installation, configuration, upgrading, backup, administration, monitoring, and patching in R12.
• Experience on Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Experience with EBS upgrade and DB migration.
• DR configuration and DR maintenance activities.
• WebLogic Server administration is a must.
• Performance tuning and bottleneck identification.
• Review applications/databases, health checks, and fixes.
• RMAN hot and cold backups and recovery for EBS servers.
• Willing to work in shifts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade Oracle Apps DBA components in EBS.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and stability of EBS systems.
• Manage RAC environments for high availability.
• Coordinate EBS upgrade and DB migration activities.
• Plan and execute DR drills and DR maintenance tasks.
• administer WebLogic Server for Oracle EBS pages.
• Perform regular health checks and bottleneck analysis.
• Review databases and applications for optimization and fixes.
• Execute RMAN backups and recoveries for EBS servers.
• Be flexible to work in shifts when required and communicate clearly.

Role & responsibilities

• Need minimum 7 years of experience in Oracle Apps DBA (EBusiness Suite Version R12)
• Must have knowledge of installation, configuration, upgrading, Backup, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching in R12.
• Should have experience on Real Application Clusters(RAC)
• Oracle EBS Application Upgrade, DB Migration Experience needed
• Experience in Disaster Recovery Configuration skills (DR Drill) and DR Maintenance Activities
• Weblogic Server Administration is must
• Experience needed in performance tuning
• Rresponsible for reviewing application/databases, health checks and identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.
• Must be expertise in RMAN, hot and cold backups and recovery for Oracle EBusiness suite servers.
• Should be flexible and ready to work in shifts(when required)
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication.
