Job summary

4sight in Hyderabad, India seeks an experienced Oracle APEX Developer to design and build enterprise applications using Oracle APEX, ORDS, REST APIs and SQL/PLSQL. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate with ERP teams on Projects and Billing processes.

Responsibilities include developing with APEX, optimizing queries, integrating with Oracle ERP and external systems, and providing production support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle application development/consulting.
• Hands-on Oracle APEX development experience in enterprise applications.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Database, design and query optimization.
• Knowledge of ORDS, REST APIs, and web-service integrations.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Oracle APEX.
• Develop APEX pages, forms, interactive reports/grids, dashboards, validations, dynamic actions, and shared components.
• Develop and optimize SQL, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and application designs.
• Develop integrations with Oracle ERP and external systems using REST APIs, ORDS, and web services.
• Work on solutions supporting Projects and Billing business processes, including project transactions, costing, billing, invoicing, and related workflows.
• Perform application testing, debugging, performance tuning, deployment, and production support.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment-related documents.
• Collaborate with functional teams, business stakeholders, and other technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 510 years of experience in Oracle application development/consulting.
• Strong hands-on Oracle APEX development experience in enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Database, database design, and query optimization.
• Good knowledge of APEX architecture, security, shared components, UI customization, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with ORDS, REST APIs, and web-service integrations.
• Strong understanding of Oracle Projects and Billing functional processes.
• Exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion Cloud Projects/Billing is preferred.
• Experience working in a techno-functional consulting environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and independently work toward technical solutions.
• Candidates with titles such as Oracle APEX Developer, APEX Consultant, Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Consultant, or Oracle Technical Consultant are preferred.
