Job summary

EY is seeking a Consulting ODI Senior to design, develop and maintain enterprise-scale data integration solutions in Pune. You will work on ODI-based ETL/ELT workflows, PL/SQL optimization, and data migration projects to support critical reporting and data warehousing initiatives.

The role requires strong ODI and Oracle skills, knowledge of data governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A fast-paced, client-facing environment offers growth within EY’s Global Delivery Services.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with ODI 12c/14c.
• Expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL programming, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT solutions and data warehousing concepts.
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and data integration best practices.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Develop and support data integration, data migration, and data transformation processes.
• Perform performance tuning of ODI interfaces, mappings, and Oracle database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL designs.
• Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders during project delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and development standards.
