Qualifications

• ODI 12c/14c development experience and ODI mappings.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ODI ETL/ELT workflows.

• Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

• Join a dynamic data engineering team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale data integration solutions.
• Work on complex ETL/ELT implementations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and PL/SQL to support business-critical reporting and data warehousing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized data solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Create, optimize, and troubleshoot PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Develop and support data integration, data migration, and data transformation processes.
• Perform performance tuning of ODI interfaces, mappings, and Oracle database objects.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and ETL designs.
• Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
• Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders during project delivery.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation activities.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and development standards.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c/14c.
• Expertise in Oracle Database, PL/SQL programming, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience in designing and developing ETL/ELT solutions and data warehousing concepts.
• Good understanding of dimensional modelling, star/snowflake schemas, and data integration best practices.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and job scheduling tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an advantage.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Azure, or AWS.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.
• Oracle certifications in ODI, PL/SQL, or Database Administration.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or global delivery environments.
