Job summary

Octanom Tech in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Options Expert to design, test, and manage options strategies across equity, index, and derivatives markets. You will execute trades, back-test systems, and monitor risk and performance.

Collaborate with quant developers, stay compliant with SEBI rules, and translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience as an options trader or strategist.
• Experience with algorithmic or automated options trading systems.
• Ability to explain complex trading concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with US and Indian derivatives markets (e.g., NSE, BSE)

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Options Trading Expert to join our trading team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in options strategies, market dynamics, and risk management. You will be responsible for executing and managing options trades, designing and testing trading strategies, and optimizing portfolio performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage options trades across various asset classes (e.g., equity, index, commodity, currency).
• Develop and back-test systematic and discretionary options strategies (e.g., spreads, straddles, strangles, iron condors, etc.).
• Analyze volatility surfaces, Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega), and implied vs historical volatility.
