Operations Specialist - Push
POSITION PURPOSE:
  • Processing of seed through all of the processing sub-departments, conditioning.
  • Following QMS documents and company guidelines, this requires following instructions and accurately measuring seed materials necessary to fulfil the processing manufacturing orders.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for review and monitoring of seeds and non seeds material and prioritizing and scheduling of process orders in alignment with daily plan.
  • Coordinating with Warehouse team for the availability of seeds as per the Process orders
  • Check the availability of the Seeds as per the process orders and report any ambiguity.
  • Confirms cleaning condition of equipment before packing & Processing
  • Increase functional knowledge through knowledge exchange, I and team development programs.
  • Monitor the targets and reporting daily performance of on-time quality, productivity and operational issues to squads in Tier meetings
  • Ensure the correct posting of process order confirmation, GI /GR of seed & non-seed materials and handover inventory to WH team along with Order confirmation sheet.
  • Plan and ensure the appropriate & consistent functional trainings to contract workforce to enhance the skills in processing.
  • Use SAP to support administrative procedures, documenting key readings, maintenance orders and production information
  • Ability to observe abnormalities and be able to act accordingly
  • Understanding Seedsmanship / quality / delivery of their work
  • Result driven attitude.
  • Ability to solve problems and manage exceptions
  • Maintain and update key process documentation (QMS) including operating, start-up and shut-down procedures (process flow and instrumentation diagrams)
  • Lead areas across the plant in driving the adoption of continuous improvement practices and programs (5S, Lean, Six Sigma) conducive to an organized and clean work environment.
  • Utilize OnePSS techniques to initiate process and standard work improvements
  • Lead projects within Operations and be a part of cross-functional teams. Participate and prepare to lead morning meetings as needed
  • Lead and direct others in various aspects of department functions, effectively directing resources to maximize production
  • Co-ordinating plant scheduler and Supervisor for the daily targets & meeting customer expectations
  • Work closely with leadership team to help drive key initiatives.

Required Skills / Experience:
  • Degree in Agriculture
