About the role

As an Operations Manager focused on Card Payments, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient card payments for our customers. You’ll be responsible for investigating issues, resolving card transaction errors, and keeping everything running like clockwork for our customers. If you’re a problem solver, detail-oriented and passionate about optimizing processes in a fast-paced environment, this role will be an amazing opportunity to learn and grow.

What you'll do
  • Investigate and resolve card payments issues - including declines, failures, blocks, or suspicious activity
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal teams (Customer Experience, Success, Tech) seeking help on card‑related queries
  • Handle customer disputes related to unauthorised or incorrect transactions, investigating the root cause and coordinating with internal teams or partners for resolution
  • Collaborate with our partners to identify and resolve transaction‑related issues, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution
  • Troubleshoot complex transaction issues, independently solving problems while knowing when to escape matters
  • Document transaction‑related knowledge gained from handling issues, contributing to continuous improvement
What we are looking for
  • 3-6 years of progressive experience, preferably in a startup environment or big‑four consulting, with a bonus for those with an existing understanding of transaction/payments concepts.
  • Prior background in fintech or payments or B2B SaaS is a plus.
  • Owner mentality and hands‑on approach, demonstrating a willingness to cover various tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously.
What's in it for you
  • Contribute to building the Middle East’s most beloved fintech brand from the ground up.
  • Benefit from a role with significant ownership and accountability.
  • Thrive in a flexible hybrid culture with ample work‑life balance.
  • Participate in exciting off‑site events.
  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Enjoy additional perks like travel allowances, gym memberships, and more.
