Job summary

Tekskills Inc. in Chennai is seeking an ETL/BI developer skilled in MS SQL, T-SQL, Python, and Tableau to design and implement data pipelines and reporting solutions.

You will write stored procedures, optimize queries, enable automation, and collaborate with development teams following Agile practices. Strong communication and proactive issue resolution are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in writing stored procedures, views, and tables using MS-SQL
• Proficient in T-SQL and SQL; able to write scalable code
• Python programming experience
• Experience with Tableau for reporting/visualization
• Automation and T-SQL performance optimization experience
• Testing and debugging of T-SQL based applications
• Exposure to SDLC and agile software practices
• Good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with development teams to determine application requirements.
• Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary.
• Represent the PoD in Agile meetings and various forums.
• Provide scripted solutions to unique scenarios.

Job description

JD - MS SQL, MS SSIS, Python and Tableau.

• Expert knowledge in T-SQL and SQL. Programming
• Writing scalable code using T-SQL and ability to run them on various platforms.
• Good to have Automation and T-SQL Performance optimization experience.
• Knowledge in Testing and debugging of T-SQL based applications.
• Hands-on experience on Python language etc.
• Assessing and prioritizing client feature requests.
• Coordinating with development teams to determine application requirements.
• Working independently and collaboratively. Also, provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary.
• Work with Agile methodology, representing the PoD in meetings and various forums.
• Providing scripted solutions to unique scenarios.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• MS-SQL (T-SQL, SQL) - need to have strong knowledge in writing Stored procedures, views, tables etc and good understanding of the same.
