• Perform basic laboratory procedures related to plant biology, physiology, microbiology, genetics, tissue culture, cytology, and biochemistry as required.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, glassware, chemicals, plant samples, cultures, and experimental materials, ensuring proper storage and readiness for use.
• Maintain accurate and organized laboratory notebooks, research records, field notes, observation sheets, sample registers, and experimental data.
• Collect data during field visits and surveys and document information on plant diversity, vegetation, habitats, ecological conditions, and environmental factors.
• Assist biodiversity surveys and ecological studies, including identification of local plant species and documentation of their distribution, abundance, and habitat conditions.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
