EXL is seeking an AI Developer in Bengaluru to build and deploy scalable GenAI and agentic AI applications across analytics, operations, and digital transformation engagements.

You will hands-on develop LLM-powered systems, RAG pipelines, and governance workflows with a strong focus on engineering excellence and capability development.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of software development experience.
• 2+ years working with AI/ML or GenAI applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Exposure to cloud-based deployments and containerization.
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
• Should have decent to good experience in data handling and analytics with python.

The AI Developer will build, test, and deploy scalable GenAI and agentic AI applications across EXLs analytics, operations and digital transformation engagements.

This role focuses on hands-on development of LLM-powered systems, RAG pipelines, agent orchestration frameworks, enterprise AI governance and AI automation workflows.

This is a technical individual contributor role in capability development & pre-sales team with a strong focus on engineering excellence and capability development.

Responsibilities

• Develop LLM-powered applications using Python-based frameworks.
• Implement RAG pipelines and vector database integrations.
• Build prompt orchestration workflows and response optimization logic.
