Job summary

Dishman Carbogen Amcis is looking for a detail-oriented analytical professional to join its R&D or quality control team in India. You will perform analyses of raw materials, intermediates and APIs using HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, IR and other instruments, and support method development and investigations.

The role requires hands-on experience with chromatography and wet chemistry, adherence to GMP/GLP/GDP, and strong problem-solving abilities to maintain quality and compliance in a fast-paced laboratory

Responsibilities

• Analyze Raw Materials, Intermediates, and APIs using HPLC, GC, UV, IR and other instruments.
• Perform titration, moisture, LOD, sulphated ash, TLC, IR, and solubility studies.
• Prepare volumetric solutions, reagents, buffers and lab chemicals.
• Calibrate and maintain instruments like UV spectrophotometer, balances, pH meter, KF titrator.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Perform analysis of Raw Materials, Intermediates, and APIs using HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, IR, and other analytical instruments.
• Conduct analytical testing including titration, moisture, LOD, sulphated ash, TLC, IR, clarity of solutions, and quantitative solubility studies.
• Prepare and maintain volumetric solutions, reagents, buffers, and laboratory chemicals.
• Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments such as UV Spectrophotometer, Balances, pH Meter, KF Titrator, and related equipment.
• Execute chromatographic analysis using Normal Phase and Reverse Phase separation techniques.
• Maintain analytical records and comply with GMP, GLP, and GDP requirements.
• Support method development, troubleshooting, and laboratory investigations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, laboratory safety, and quality systems.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2-7 years of experience in Analytical R&D, API, or Pharmaceutical laboratories.
• Hands‑on experience with HPLC, GC, UV, IR, KF, and wet chemistry analysis.
• Good understanding of chromatography and analytical techniques.
• Exposure to GMP, GLP, GDP, and documentation practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
