Job summary

Sun Pharma is seeking an Officer / Sr. Officer Peptide at Ahmednagar to lead manufacturing activities for peptide products.

The role requires handling raw materials, batch charging, and adherence to BMR and SOPs in the Peptide plant, including equipment calibration, cleaning, and log maintenance. The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc or M.Sc in chemistry and has 5–7 years experience in Peptide API manufacturing, with a focus on process monitoring, yield improvement, solvent reduction, and reducing

• Educational qualification: B.Sc (Chemistry) or M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry).
• Experience: 5–7 years in Peptide API manufacturing units.

Responsibilities

• To issue and receipt of raw materials for manufacturing of Peptide Products as per requirement.
• Charging of batches and carry out all operations related to process as per BMR and written procedures.
• To manufacture peptide products as per BMR and written procedures in Peptide plant
• Operations, Calibration, Cleaning and Maintenance of process equipment and recording their usage logs.
• Monitor Process and cleaning turn around time (TR) during synthesis and purification of Peptide products.
• Monitor process parameter and yield.
• Reduction in Solvent usage and reduction in down time of the instruments.
• Reduction in batch failures, batch hold ups and generation of waste.
